Squirrly SEO is one of the most intuitive and complete SEO plugins in the market. I’ve completely replaced Yoast SEO after discovering Squirrly.

Pros: Squirrly provides you with a hand holding experience. It tells you what you need to focus on to increase your ranking potentials.
Cons: There’s a steep learning curve to get used to Squirrly SEO. There’s just too many features to focus on.
Verdict: Overall, I highly recommend Squirrly to those who are not experts in SEO. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars to hire an expert. Squirrly will tell you what needs to be done.

Squirrly SEO offers over 200 functions for every one of its paid plans. They also offer simple pricing with no long-term contracts.
For the casual blogger, you’ll do just fine with Squirrly’s free version. However, for those who are serious about their blog in terms of reaching its audience. Squirrly pro is a very wise investment.
Squirrly SEO VS Yoast SEO
Which one is better? Squirrly SEO vs Yoast SEO? Squirrly is not a replacement for Yoast SEO.
There are many features that I like about Yoast SEO and aren’t available in Squirrly.
However, there are also many features that I like about Squirrly and aren’t available in Yoast SEO.
In the end, I decided to remove Yoast SEO and stick with Squirrly SEO.
It’s extremely easy to use after you’ve played with it for a few hours. And the features that it offers is what closed the deal for me.
You can also use both Squirrly SEO and Yoast SEO. They are both compatible for each other!

What I Like About Squirrly SEO
What I really like about Squirrly is being able to save my keywords and group them based on my SEO strategy. Basically, the labels function is like categories that you can filter for your keywords.

The one feature that first caught my attention is the Squirrly Keyword Research Tool. It’s available to use as you are writing your content. A feature that I’ve not seen in any other keyword research tool.
The Squirrly Keyword Research Tool recommends keywords that are similar to your content and based on what users search for on Google.
With the Squirrly Keyword Research tool, it will also display the level of competition, suggested keywords, as well as how many searches (I believe it’s per month basis).
Squirrly Live Assistant
With Squirrly Live Assist, it’s literally like having a personal SEO assistant walking you through every step of the way.
It provides you with support in real-time as you’re typing your article to ensure that your content is not only optimized for search engines but also human friendly.
