If you have a product that solves a big problem for people in your niche space. You can reach out to people with spending power instead of your email list. A simple search on Google will provide you with listings of businesses who relates to your niche space.
Most of these companies should have a contact page. What’s the harm in setting these people propositions? Let them know how they can benefit from your product.
For example, if you have an SEO tool that can revolutionize content marketing. You can reach out to SEO companies or companies that need help with search engine optimization.
You see, established companies have way more spending power than any individual person. Using the example above, if you can convince the SEO company to purchase your product, you will earn yourself a customer that will pay you top dollars.
Tip: When using this approach, definitely let them know about your establishment (show them your website) plus offer them a free trial.
Explain How You Can Help Them
People buy solutions. When you buy a car, it’s because you don’t want to walk or take public transportation. You buy an iPhone because you want to have a popular gadget that enables you to search the web and make phone calls. Now the question I want you to ask yourself is. What can you do to help your potential customers?
For example, if you have a product to help people generate more traffic. You can reach out to smaller blogs and tell about how you can help them generate more traffic.
With tools like SimilarWeb, you can let them know how they are doing and what they can do with your product to increase their traffic. When doing so, make sure you show them your own traffic count as well as your previous clients to build trust and credibility.
Whatever you do, explain how you can help and you will do very well!
Know Your Product
Before trying to sell anything, you must first understand and know your product from the inside out. The problem with insufficient knowledge is that you will have a hard time explaining how the product actually works and how to sell it effectively.
For example, when you’re selling a car, you want to know exactly what that particular car is good for and how it can benefit your clients. When someone comes to you with a family of 7, you don’t want to show them a car with 5 seats. You’ll want to show them a mini-van or an SUV with 7 seats.
The same applies when you sell your products online. By understanding what your product is about. You can better target the right people through email marketing to increase sales.
Keep Testing Your Campaigns
When I first started with email marketing, my results were horrible! I didn’t get very many open rates and very few would buy. That’s why you need to keep testing your campaigns. As long as you don’t give up and continue to test your campaigns, you will eventually succeed.
