Welcome to another article from your Host Eric! Today, we will be talking about how to increase the ranking of your pages on Google(: This is very important if you want to maximize the exposure of your website to increase traffic and potential sales on your website.
The Internet is very competitive especially with a number of available websites that are closely related to each other. Let’s say you want to find a way to lose weight. There are probably thousands of websites talking about it, so how can you increase the ranking of your pages to receive more exposure?
Top Ranking Websites
The websites on the top pages of Google receive better treatment. The reason why is because they have HIGH rankings on the pages which ultimately increases their OVERALL ranking in the system. It’s not because the host is good looking or has a special connection with Google.
Exposure is the KEY to online success, and page rank is like a piece of the puzzle. You need to have all of the necessary pieces together before you can use the KEY to open the Exposure box.
I am not an expert at Online Affiliate Marketing, but I have been doing my research, reading books, and trying out these methods personally.
Tips To Increase Page Ranking
Tip #1: Share Your Contents Regularly On Social Network and Connect With Your Viewers
Personally, I update my Social Media as soon as I publish a blog or new content. This allows my viewers to see that I am actively working on my website. You also want to promote engagement by responding to comments.
I’ve also thought about including a QUESTION each time I make a post on my Social Media to kind of encourage people to leave a comment.
Sharing your content on Social Media such as Google Plus, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, etc will also help you get indexed by search engines faster and building authority with Google.
The Reason why is because you are giving your website exposure and if people find your article interesting. They might even share it with their friends making it a cycle of unlimited exposure on the internet(:
Tip #2 Utilizing Youtube For Promotion
Youtube was founded on February 14, 2005. It has since become a massive company allowing people to watch and share videos. It is currently one of the highest ranked on Google, so why not utilize their high rank to increase your exposure?
I would recommend searching for a keyword that is not very competitive, so you can use it as an opportunity to rank higher!
Personally, I haven’t tried this method yet, but I’ve seen many people do it. You should definitely give it a shot if you have spare time to make promotional and educational videos for your website to maximize the exposure.
Tip #3 Continue To Add High Quality And Helpful Contents For Your Readers
I know, you’ve heard me mention this probably a million times by now, but that’s because it is very critical to keep your website up-to-date with content. Search engines will recognize that your website is not going away anytime soon.
They don’t want to index or boost your ranking if you’re not going to stick around. It’s that simple! If you’re keeping up with my website, you will notice that I publish new articles almost every day.
I am not saying you have to do exactly what I do, but at least bare minimum 1 article every 2 days would really benefit you in the long run.
If you are running out of ideas then you need to either re-evaluate whether your niche website is really something you are interested in.

One little tip when writing your content: You want to write articles that are focused on helping people and not so much on selling. You don’t want to be a pushy salesperson because your viewers will NOT hesitate to leave your website and NEVER come back.
What happens is when you’re trying too hard to sell, you’re not building value for yourself and your website. They can simply go straight to the retailer to make a purchase.
They are there on your website because they are looking for information, not someone to say, “Hey Buy This, Good Deal.”

Tip #4 Add Internal Links To Funnel Your Website
What is better than having a viewer read ONE article? Reading multiple articles of course, but it has to make sense. Okay, so what does it mean by funneling internally?
It means your viewer is reading an article and taking notes of your important key points. Somewhere in your article, you will have links that provide deeper explanations of what you are talking about.
Example: Bob is reading your article and you’re talking about recommending Wealthy Affiliate. You want to include a link somewhere that will allow them to redirect themselves to the page where you reviewed the Wealthy Affiliate.
*Make sure when you add internal links to your page, have it open in a new tab, so they can keep reading your current article.
What Happens As Your Page Ranks Higher?
You will jump out of your bed with joy all over your face!!! just kidding. What happens is, as your Pages starts getting ranked, Google or other search engines will give you more authority.
Your pages will show up on Google much faster meaning you will get much more traffic each and every time. This is why Quality content is very important because you need to have content for Google to rank (:
How Long Does It Take To Have My Pages Ranked Higher?
The truth is, nobody knows. It can take weeks or months, but as long as you follow the tips above, you will increase the rate of getting your pages ranked on Google and other search engines.
