Last night Smart Affiliate Hub went through a theme change to maximizes conversion and business goals. It’s another WordPress theme by StudioPress called Authority Pro designed by Rafal Tomal. I know I change my theme pretty often, but you can’t improve without making changes right?
Here’s what StudioPress has to say about this excellent theme:

So far, I am in completely satisfied with Authority Pro and you will probably notice minor tweaks for the next couple of days. However, just for the basics, I will be covering the things I like and dislike about this theme. Without further ado, let’s dive right in!
Built On The Genesis Framework
After my previous experience with another Genesis child theme, Mai Lifestyle Pro. I am now a loyal customer of the Genesis Framework. It’s one of the best foundations for a WordPress theme that I’ve ever tried.
Here’s the best way I can describe the Genesis Framework:
- The Genesis Framework is the skeleton of the blog.
- The Authority Pro is the outside flesh. It’s where you see the design and how beautiful it is.
Extremely Mobile-Friendly
In the modern days of blogging, having a mobile-friendly theme is extremely important. Most people access the internet using their smartphones, so you’ll be missing out on lots of additional traffic if you neglect this.
Fortunately, most modern WordPress themes are designed with this in mind. However, I must commend the designers at StudioPress for making this theme so attractive on mobile devices!
Customizable Homepage
I don’t know anything about coding, but I don’t have to. Themes created by StudioPress are customizable. You can change how your homepage looks by changing colors, logos, header images, menus, widgets, etc.
Clear Indications Of Your Authority
The hero’s section is a great addition to this theme because it displays clearly on your website as the first impression. What happens is, you have a few seconds to capture the attention of your visitor. If you fail to do so, your visitor will click away and never give you the chance to prove yourself.
With features such as WooCommerce, call-to-action message strip at the top of the page, beautiful design, templates, all designed to accentuate your brand. I recommend installing the Genesis eNews extended plugin if you want to add an opt-in form to build your email list right on your homepage or sidebar.
Other Notable Features
One-Time Purchase Fee – Unlike most WordPress themes, you don’t have to pay for it over and over again.
SEO Optimized – Authority Pro is designed with SEO in mind, so you don’t have to worry about it. What really impressed me is the speed which is a huge factor when it comes to search engine ranking.
Unlimited Support – StudioPress is great with providing you with unlimited support. Most companies will provide you with 1 year of free updates and support. Afterward, you are asked to pay an additional fee if you want to extend it.
Top Security – StudioPress themes are built with security in mind. The code they use is checked for security vulnerabilities and regularly updated for potential risks.
What I Don’t Like About Authority Pro
I can’t seem to figure out how to change my header and footer. I feel like it’s quite bland compared to most WordPress themes out there.
If you really want to customize your Genesis theme like Authority Pro, you’ll have to pay extra for the Genesis Design Palette Pro. I feel like this feature should have come with the Genesis framework.
Other than that, I can’t seem to find anything else that I dislike about Authority Pro. Maybe over time, I will find more issues, but for now, it’s great!
Pro Plus All-Theme Package
If you like to change your theme from time to time or if you have multiple websites. You might want to consider purchasing their pro plus all-theme package which includes all the current and future theme releases! It’s quite an expensive upfront, but it’s definitely worth it in the long run.
Do I Recommend Authority Pro by StudioPress?
Absolutely! This is an amazing WordPress theme and would be a great addition to your blog no matter what niche market you’re in. It’s extremely user-friendly and very customizable.
I am no expert in coding, but I was able to fully set it up with my customization in under an hour! I also did it in the middle of the night, so I was falling asleep at the same time.
If you are looking to add a new look to your blog. I highly recommend giving this WordPress theme a shot! I absolutely love and I’m sure you will too.
