Tool #1: Secure your website with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Google as a business takes serious precaution to ensure their search engine traffic receives search results that are not only relevant but safe to browse.
It’s absolutely safe to assume that SSL plays a huge role in terms of trust in the eyes of Google. Growing up, I was told the internet is filled with scammers and hackers. This became more evident to me when I made a purchase at an unsecured website and had my credit card information compromised. Ever since that experience, I would never trust or stay too long at a website that is unsecured.
It’s almost like going to a house to sleep for the night, but the doors are open with no way of keeping people out. Would you feel safe sleeping there? — Absolutely not!
This is why securing your website with SSL is so important if you intend to keep your business running successfully for a very long time.
If you look at your browser bar, you will notice there is a green padlock next to the https:// URL. This means it is safe to visit and the website owner actually spent extra money to ensure your safety.
Personally, I don’t think having SSL or not having SSL will hugely impact your website rankings. However, I think by having a secured website it can greatly benefit your website overall!

Tool #2: Register your Website with Google Search Console or Webmaster tools as well as Google Analytic. These are tools provided by Google and will absolutely benefit the growth of your website.
