What Is The Banger Method?
In a nutshell, The Banger Method teaches you how to increase the conversion rate from your affiliate links. The method they teach here is by offering your readers bonuses to encourage them to buy the product.
However, the problem here is that it claims to be 100% newbie-friendly.
You see, the strategy itself is good, but I don’t see how a person who is brand new can benefit from this knowledge from the get-go.
In my opinion, the Banger Method is good for those who are already promoting products but wants to learn how to increase conversion.
In other words, you need to have already established yourself to a certain degree such as having a website and already having some website traffic.
As a complete beginner, I don’t see how you can make thousands of dollars per day stated on the sales page!
Is The Banger Method A Scam?
No, I don’t consider The Banger Method a scam, but it’s definitely misleading to say that anyone can start earning $2,150.00 per day within 24 hours or fewer.
Anyone who’s been in the business long enough will tell you that it takes time to grow any type of business.
If you are completely new to making money online, you will have a hard time getting any results from The Banger Method because you don’t have a foundation (existing website or traffic) to take action.
The video training you get breaks down the steps, but that’s only going to teach you how to add bonuses to your affiliate links.
What about how to build a website to promote those links? What about how to gain traffic, so you have people to sell to?
The Red Flags Of The Banger Method
When it comes to making money online products. Oftentimes, you will discover red flags due to them not being 100% transparent. The following are a few red flags that I discovered.
Red Flag #1 Misleading With Missing Components
The income proof shown on their website is definitely not typical. The method shown is to have you promote MMO products from WarriorPlus and JVZoo.
To increase conversion, you’re being taught to include bonuses for those products.
Also, if you take a quick look, you will notice that they don’t even have a privacy policy, income disclaimer, and terms & conditions.
Red Flag #2 100% Newbie-Friendly
The Banger Method claims that anyone can get started with zero experience and make thousands of dollars. All it takes is $13.17 and 25 minutes of your time to set it up.
Here’s why this product is NOT newbie-friendly:
- Claims that you don’t need a website, but doesn’t show you how to promote your affiliate links.
- Claims that you don’t need an audience. Well, who are you going to promote to? Yourself?
- Claims that you don’t need an email list to market your affiliate links.
From my experience, that is the exact opposite of affiliate marketing. As a beginner, you will be super confused by this product and since there’s no real training, you’ll probably end up quitting.
Red Flag #3 No Customer Support
If you end up buying this product, you will notice that you’re pretty much on your own. If you’re new to making money online, you’re going to have a lot of questions.
That’s why I recommend Wealthy Affiliate instead. There you will actually learn everything from the basics even if you only sign up as a free member.
Red Flag #4 Promoting Low-Quality Products
WarriorPlus and JVZoo are two affiliate networks that promote low-quality products in the MMO niche.
That’s why you don’t see me promoting those products here on Smart Affiliate Hub. I don’t want to be known as the person who promotes low-quality products.
Upsells Found In The Banger Method
First, I’d like to mention that upsells are not necessarily bad. It’s a common business practice to increase profits. Even McDonalds uses this method. When you purchase a burger, they’ll often try to upsell you to their full meal.
The Banger Method is what I consider a tripwire. It’s a low-cost product designed not for profit, but to determine who is a buyer. Once you’ve purchased The Banger Method, you will start receiving upsell offers of up to $2000.00.
Here’s a list of upsells and down-sells:
Upsell #1: Banger Funnels ($37.00) (Down-sell: $17) – This is the first of the many upsell you will encounter. This upsell is a done-for-you campaign, which is a pre-made sales funnel that you can use instead of making your own.
Upsell #2: Banger License Rights ($97.00) (Down-sell: $47) – This is the second of the many upsell you will encounter. This upsell is the license right to The Banger Method.
It allows you to promote The Banger Method as an affiliate and earn a banging 100% commission for the entire sales funnel (includes upsell and down-sell).
Upsell #3: Banger Coaching ($1,997.00) – If you need support from Brendan Mace himself. You can pay $1,997.00 to learn from the man himself.
Honestly, he should’ve included the entire affiliate marketing training into his product to make it truly newbie-friendly, but I guess it’s a good way to make more money right?
Upsell #4: Banger Digital Coaching ($197.00) – Well, I don’t know if I should really call this upsell, but it kind of is… since you only needed to pay $13.17 to get started.
The Banger Digital Coaching is a down-sell offer for those who can’t afford to spend $1997.00 for the 1-on-1 coaching from Brendan Mace.
In Conclusion
I’ve come to the conclusion that The Banger Method is not a scam, but it’s not truly beginner-friendly. You can’t drive a car without first learning how to drive a car.
The same applies to making money online and that’s why I recommend every beginner to start with the basics.
There is no magic bullet, so throw that mentality aside and establish a solid foundation in this industry, so you can eventually quit your job and earn a full-time income working from home.
