Microworkers – Product Overview
Microworkers is a platform for crowdsourcing. Basically, it is designed to match you with individuals or companies who are searching for workers to help them perform online tasks. The task provider will pay Microworkers and Microworkers will pay you to get the job completed.
Note: You can also become a task provider.
The tasks provided can be at various levels of difficulties. Some are as simple as liking a YouTube video, following someone on Social Media, and looking at advertisements. While others can be a tad bit more difficult such as testing apps, testing websites, transcription, writing ad campaigns, and much more.
However, to actually start earning money, you must complete the task and the task provider must also approve it. When registering an account on Microworkers, you will receive $1.00 for registering.
The minimum payout threshold is only $10.00, which means you only need to earn another $9.00 to cash out. The good news is, they provide you with around 100 tasks in which you can choose the ones that you like.
According to Complaints Board, there are quite a few complaints about Microworkers being a fraud or a scam. So let’s continue reading to find out what it is all about.
What To Expect If You Sign Up For Microworkers
I always like to use other people’s experience with a company to gain a better understanding before committing myself to it. Here are some of the things I found on Complaints Board.
#1. Jobs Not Completed But Was Still Charged
One of the reviews that caught my attention was from someone who became an employer (task provider). This user spent $50.00 to outsource some work. Not only was the work not completed, but he or she was also charged without a way to get a refund.
To make matters worst, he or she submitted a claim via PayPal only to discover that Microworkers closed their PayPal account. That is ridiculous!
It also seems that their customer service is mediocre at best. What’s the point of having a customer service department if nobody answers?
Hopefully, this person figured something out such as contacting his or her banking institution to charge back their money!
#2. The Pin Is A Joke, They Don’t Payout
Thanks to Joe1111, we now know that Microworkers is a joke. The pin system is a joke, it’s just another way to make it hard for you to get paid. Not only did the previous user lose his money being a task provider, but the workers who spend their priceless time to complete it gets screwed out of their paycheck.
Is Microworkers A Scam?
In my opinion, Microworkers is not a scam. I don’t doubt that they do pay their users, but that fact that their pin system gets delayed makes it very uneasy. In my opinion, they should get rid of this pin system altogether. It’s just another obstacle for their users to overcome plus their unresponsive customer support team.
Even if you do get paid for your work, it’s not going to be anything significant. Plus you’ll have to do a ton of tasks to make it worthwhile. What’s worst is after completing hundreds of tasks only to realize that you’re not getting a pin (not going to get paid until you do).
There are far better options out there such as Swagbucks if you’re okay with earning less money. But at least you don’t have to worry about getting paid or not.
On Swagbucks, you’ll have to complete little tasks such as filling out surveys, watching videos, playing games, etc. After you’ve accumulated enough points, you can redeem it for cash or gift cards. Right now they are offering anyone who signs up $10.00 to get started.
However, if completing small tasks such as surveys is not your cup of tea. There are far better ways to make money online. If you are interested, please continue reading!
Start Your Own Online Business
Starting your own online business and becoming your own boss is the best way to go. However, some people prefer doing small tasks on platforms like Swagbucks. Whichever you decide to choose is up to you.
If you like traveling, spending more time with your loved ones, starting an online business is the best way to go. The reason why is because an online business can be automated.
For example, my blog generates organic traffic from search engines like Google. Therefore, it’s working around the clock and I can make money even when I’m asleep.
Also, your earning potential is much greater than websites like Microworkers and Swagbucks. If you want to learn more about this, please download my Ultimate Passive Income Model eBook. It details the exact process that’s easy enough to follow that a total beginner can do it.
In my eBook, I’ve highlighted everything step-by-step, so you’ll know exactly how I got started. Keep in mind, my eBook contains 2 methods to get started.
One of which is completely free to start, but they do offer a premium membership ($49.00 per month) to gain full access to their training, website hosting, keyword research tool, tutorials, plus more.
Unfortunately, most people never get started because of the cost. Yes, $49.00 per month is not cheap, but it’s totally worth it if you want to escape the rat race.
To help those who are on a tight budget. I have prepared a Free WordPress Installation service in which I take care of getting your blog and website ready to go. Plus, the starting cost is as low as $2.75 per month which is less than $0.10 per day.
