How To Leverage Experts In Your Niche

A blog post means nothing if nobody reads it. That’s why there’s something called marketing. Just because you hit the publish button, it doesn’t mean your job is done.

And if you are brand to blogging, you’ll have to slowly build up a network of authority bloggers who are in your niche space. That’s why your initial Social Media marketing effort means very little.

If someone with very few followers shares your content, it will only reach a small number of people. Or let’s say someone who has 10,000 followers, but they are all random. That means your content will get seen, but will probably get disregarded.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still something!

The game changes as soon as you have other popular authority bloggers sharing your content as well. Especially those with tens of thousands of relevant followers.

When someone like that shares your content, you’re getting real exposure to people who want to know more about your niche topic.

Now the hardest part is to get these people to share your content.

In this article, I want to share with you two methods that allow you to leverage experts in your niche! Ready for it? Let’s go!

Method #1. Roundup Post

I am not going to take credit for this method. In fact, I learned about this method after watching a video by Neil Patel. This is an awesome strategy and will help you generate a huge amount of social traffic.

The method is quite simple, first, you start off by coming up with a common question in your niche. For example, let’s say your question is “How do you lose weight without starving yourself?”

Once you have your question, it’s time to find a list of authority bloggers on the topic.

Next, you just have to reach out to each blogger through email.

In your email, you can say something like this:

Hi (insert name),

I’m Eric with Smart Affiliate Hub! I’m currently preparing a roundup post to address a commonly asked question in your niche. I decided to reach out to you because you are an authority in this area. And I would love to include you in my roundup post.

So my question for you is: How do you lose weight without starving yourself?

If you are interested, simply answer the question and respond back to this email.

Once I’m done with this roundup post, I will send you an email with the link, so you can share it with your readers. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Cheers,

Eric, Smart Affiliate Hub

This is extremely effective and helpful for your readers as well. Since they are authority bloggers, their answer is probably very accurate. And all you have to do is compile their answers, add their website’s URL into the blog post and publish it.

Just remember to go back and email those who agreed to be on the roundup post and give them the URL, so they can share it on their social networks.

Even after you’re done, you can stay connected with these authority bloggers and build a relationship for future collaborations.

Method #2. Interview Authority Bloggers

Similar to the first method, you’ll want to come up with commonly asked questions in your niche. The only difference is, you’ll want more than one otherwise you’ll have the worlds shortest interview.

You’ll want to ask engaging questions, so do your research before you set one up.

Some will ignore you, but it’s a numbers game. But did you know that an interview is beneficial for the person conducting the interview and the person being interviewed?

You see, the person being interviewed is always viewed as the authority, the person who knows his or her stuff. The person who does the interviewing is not just some random person, because they are able to get in touch with an authority.

By getting an authority blogger to agree on doing an interview with you. And if you’re able to ask engaging and impactful questions, you will get far better results.

Once the interview is complete, the person who was interviewed is likely going to share it on his or her social networks. This will get you lots of impressions in front of people who are already interested in your topic.

It’s just a matter of leveraging someone who is already where you want to be.

In Conclusion

I hope this was helpful!

Regardless of whichever method you choose, Roundup Post or Interview, it will require your effort and persistence. You will get turned down by a lot of people.

But if you don’t try, you won’t have a chance at all.

If you’ve tried these methods before, please let me know how it went by leaving a comment down below.

If you are completely new to this, feel free to ask questions and I will try my best to help you out.
