Do you want to learn how to grow your blog using LinkedIn? LinkedIn is a great Social Media platform for those who are in search of a career opportunity as well as showcase their expertise.
LinkedIn is also a great place to share your niche related blog posts to help drive relevant traffic back to your blog. With over 645 million members worldwide, it’s a network that you should take advantage of.
In this article, I’m going to share with you, how to grow your blog using LinkedIn. Without further ado, let’s get started!
Find Out What Is Popular
You can find an abundance of content on LinkedIn. Some are more popular than others. It’s a great opportunity to find out what kind of content generates the most hits in your niche industry.
Another great tip I have for you is to check out the comments for these popular content. Often times, you will find people asking questions.
You can then turn those questions into a separate article that covers the topic as well as providing a solution.
It’s a great way to quickly become an authority in your niche within the LinkedIn community. The goal is to become the go-to expert of your niche.
If you don’t have a lot of content at the moment, you can even share, like, and comment on other people’s content. It never hurts to build a relationship and a network of like-minded individuals.
Join Groups Related To Your Niche
Joining groups will quickly connect you with people who are interested in your niche. By simply clicking on your Interest Tab and selecting Groups. You will find an abundance of groups that you can join today.
There you can meet and share information in your niche such as content from your blog. It’s a great way to connect and start building a network.
Add Images To Your Content
I’m astonished by how many people do not use images in their content. An image can represent a thousand words. In fact, most people prefer images over text because let’s face it… who likes to read?
Yet… I am creating text-based content here… oh boy…
Adding images along with your text-based content helps improve engagement and understanding because it is easier for non-primary English speakers to interpret.
But be careful because not every image found on the internet can be used. Here’s how to find free images for your blog.
Make it Simple And Capture The Attention Quickly
LinkedIn is just like other Social Media Platforms. People are not there to spend all day reaching your content. They want to find what they’re looking for quickly and get the heck out.
When is the last time you spent a decent amount of time reading through content published on Social Media?
It is free to blog on LinkedIn, so you can summarize your articles and publish them directly on LinkedIn.
If you are interested in publishing blog posts on LinkedIn, I recommend checking out LinkedIn Pulse (article written by Neil Patel).
By producing high-quality content on LinkedIn, people will be compelled to check out your blog for more information!
Find Out What Type Of Content Resonates With Your Audience
The type of content you produce can either turn you into a star or a nobody down the streets. And by understanding what type of content you should produce, it will help you cater to your audience.
At the end of the day, it’s all about user engagement. It doesn’t matter how amazing your content is. What good is it if nobody is checking it out?
There are various types and I’ll try to list them all here:
- How To – Content that teaches people how to do something.
- Personal Opinion – Content that expresses your opinion on a subject.
- List – Content that presents information in a list format.
- Humor – Just plain old fun to read or watch.
- Blog Posts – This is more general since your blog may talk about a variety of topics that relates.
As a blogger, you’re only going to make money if someone buys your solution. For example, someone who wants to learn how to build a WordPress website.
By providing such content, those who want to learn how to build a WordPress website will likely engage with your posts as long as it’s relevant and helpful.
This will help get you viewed as an authority on the topic. Someone who knows what the heck they are talking about.
LinkedIn is a great network if you want to expand their horizons and meet people who are interested in your niche.
There you can share content and drive traffic back to your blog. As well as understand what people are looking for in your industry.
It never hurts to have a strong profile on LinkedIn to help perceive yourself as an expert in your subject.
Just to recap…
With LinkedIn, you can use it to search for popular post ideas for your blog and with the right approach, you can quickly build up the momentum of your blog.
